Hannah John is a freelance reporter for Source New Mexico based in Gallup. She is Diné and a citizen of the Navajo Nation. She is Bit’ah’nii (Within His Cover) and born for Honágháahnii (One Who Walks Around). Her maternal grandfather is Tábaahí (Water Edge) and paternal grandfather is Tódich’ii’nii (Bitter Water). She is a graduate from the University of New Mexico. Her bylines have been featured by the Navajo Times and Rio Grande SUN.
